More than a year ago, I shared my moodboard for Eloquent Woman, a fashion magazine who reached out to me in need of a masthead/logotype. Last July, I designed a few spreads of their debut issue featuring the masthead I created, (you may view it on our "Featured Work" page, here) and since then they have revamped their brand to Éloquent Magazine and I was lucky to designed even more spreads for their most recent issue. This time, you can actually purchase the hard copy version off of their Blurb page. I'm sharing a few spreads that I enjoyed working on (I uploaded a few more on our website), but you should definitely order a copy if you're interested in reading the articles!

Annnnnnd we're back! Not that we left, but we have been scary good at keeping quiet here on the blog. We didn't choose to be quiet, our work got in the way (very good thing though). Another reason for our silence (we know, excuses are rude), I got married and relocated to Sacramento this year. Now, eight months after our last entry, we have finally settled down, gotten into the groove of working on opposite poles of California, and here we are with much for you to catch up on. Happy Birthday to us! Today, July 21st marks one year since we opened Simply Print for business. We've been holding our breath for this day, and now we can finally celebrate! A lot has happened in this single year: grew our clientele base, extended our Etsy paper products line to Redbubble (and are surprisingly selling quite a bit in the UK), sadly said our good-byes to a founding member of the girl team and moved into our fancy workspace. I wanted to share the moodboard I created for Eloquent Woman, an online publication that is directed towards "the woman with style and grace, because beauty is more than skin deep." They contacted me to design the masthead for their magazine but it would also serve as a logo to have a cohesive online presence. Prior to my design, their website and previous issues had different looks. You can see the final logo below and utilized on their website. When discussing what they were looking for in their masthead, they came up with distinctive, elegant, bold and legible, and I think I was able to do just that.
